Bigwave Robotics, an industrial physical AI company, said on Monday it has launched Hyper Foundry, an integrated development platform that runs from robot data collection to AI model training and validation and deployment to real robots. Hyper Foundry is an end-to-end physical AI development platform that uses data generated by robots for AI training and implements the results as robot actions.
Bigwave Robotics said it has bundled robot hardware, GPU servers and environments for data collection and training. It said this reduces the need to connect individual technologies and infrastructure separately and implements, as a single workflow, the process of turning robot data into intelligence. It said the platform targets applications ranging from robot AI research and development at universities and research institutions to validation in manufacturing and logistics sites.
The platform consists of 4 modules. Data Studio collects and synchronises behavioural data from multiple robots, and Model Studio supports AI model development based on imitation learning and reinforcement learning. Mission Studio applies trained models to real robots, and Data Library centrally manages data, models and deployment history. The company said it connects data asset creation with iterative performance improvements.
The platform allows research institutions to focus on securing data and on model training and validation. Industrial customers develop models using real task data and verify whether they can be applied on site. It also supports selective deployments tailored to customers' robot and research environments, as well as on-premises data management. Bigwave Robotics plans to develop Hyper Foundry into a growth engine for its industrial physical AI business and, based on its field experience in its existing robot automation business, expand into an infrastructure company that supports the development, training and deployment of robot intelligence.
Bigwave Robotics CEO Min-gyo Kim (김민교) said, "For physical AI to establish itself beyond the lab as a core technology in industry, an integrated infrastructure that connects everything from data collection to AI training and application to real robots is essential." He added, "Through Hyper Foundry, we will lower the technical barriers to implementing physical AI and present a new standard for industrial physical AI development."
The company will hold the 'BIGWAVE SHIFT 2026 – Industrial Physical AI Summit' on Oct. 22 at SKY31 in Jamsil, Seoul, and unveil Hyper Foundry's technology vision and ways to use it. Nvidia, TwelveLabs, NC AI, RealWorld and Rainbow Robotics will take part to discuss the development direction of industrial physical AI, and the event will also include demonstrations linking Hyper Foundry with humanoid robots.
