According to The Information, Meta has collaborated with Shanghai-based robotics company Fourier to create a humanoid robot prototype named Max. Developed in approximately three months, the prototype weighs about 48 kilograms and stands roughly 1.5 meters tall. It features NVIDIA Jetson Thor chips and is designed for home interaction, including voice recognition from five meters away and gesture understanding from three meters. Meta and Fourier are now developing a second-generation version, Max 2, with improved manipulators and additional sensors.
