Unitree Quadrupedal Robots Win Gold and Silver at Inaugural CMG World Robot Mount Tai Competition
宇树机器狗登泰山斩获1金2银!官方未派出人形机器人参赛
On November 2, the inaugural CMG World Robot Mount Tai Competition began in Tai'an, Shandong. Unitree's Beijing Lingyi team, using A2 robots in fully autonomous mode, won the quadrupedal racing championship with a final time of 43 minutes 41 seconds after penalties. Shanghai Gaoyi secured two silver medals with A2 and B2 units. Unitree stated it sent only its A2 and B2 models due to resource constraints. Independent teams also competed; one G1 development unit withdrew mid-race due to overheating, while another humanoid robot struggled significantly on the steep final ascent.
